I possess over fifteen years of experience in theatrical scenery and exhibit production. The last twelve of which were executed as a project manager. I was responsible for providing our team with the resources and guidance necessary to ensure design-accurate fabrication and installation of high-quality scenery for a prestigious clientele.
My years of experience have afforded me a robust set of skills from which I am able to deploy effectively throughout the project delivery process. However, none is more valuable than the skill of active listening when interacting with the project site, project stakeholders, and team.
Recently awarded a Master of Landscape Architecture from Ball State University, I am excited to enter the profession and continue learning through collaboration with an innovative team passionate about holistic public health and environmental wellness.
Stories fascinate me. I enjoy discovering the connections between people and places through engaging with those who have stories to share. Great ideas emerge from these interactions.
My years of experience in theatrical design have granted me the ability to recognize the landscape as an integral character of the story. Careful analysis reveals a framework of character relationships.
Exploring the uniqueness of relationships is the collaborative endeavor I savor most. Crafting the landscape’s character through teamwork and exploration generates a design that enriches the story.
Examination of form, materiality, and composition is crucial to refining the landscape's character. Paying close attention to the details produces unique designs aligned with the vision.
Having spent twenty years interpreting and producing construction drawings, I have exceptional familiarity with the document form and graphic standards.
My familiarity with construction documentation is second only to my expertise in construction methodology, administration, and QA/QC processes acquired through years of on-site experience.
